Top 5 Ways to Increase Traffic to Your New Home Builder Blog

By May 22, 2018July 24th, 2018Uncategorized
You already know how valuable blogging is to your overall digital marketing strategy. Your blog is the key to establishing yourself as a credible source of information while giving your brand a voice. And once your readers identify you as a leader in your niche, they become fans who ultimately convert into people who ask you to build a new home for them. However, creating content and publishing it on your blog is just the first phase of your content marketing efforts. Without more eyeballs on your blog, you can’t resonate with an audience big enough to develop brand awareness. What you need is to increase traffic to your blog so you can attract hot leads to your site. Here’s how: 1. Social Media Facebook remains the largest social media platform on the planet with its 2.20 billion monthly active users. Instagram now has 800 million users and growing. Twitter can still boast 330 million monthly active users while LinkedIn’s community of users has reached the half billion mark. You can’t ignore the influence that social media has and why marketers don’t hesitate to leverage it. Promote each blog you publish across all your social media channels Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. You should also have a link to your blog on your social media profiles. Each time you publish a new blog, you can post a related image on Instagram with a caption that says the link to the full story can be found on your bio; don’t forget to update the website link on your Instagram bio each time you publish a new article. As for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, it’s as easy as posting a teaser and a link to the blog post. 2. LinkedIn Groups As an active member of a targeted LinkedIn Group, you have access to a vast audience that will be directed back to your blog whenever you share articles and links. LinkedIn’s targeting capabilities allow you to gain high-quality engagement by targeting based on the LinkedIn groups you belong to. You can target consumer groups by filtering by region and homebuying segments such as Millennials, Gen X, Early Boomers, and Late Boomers. Not only are you being helpful by providing relevant and compelling resources, but you’re also driving traffic to your blog. 3. Facebook Groups Facebook Groups can get you more traction on your blog because you’re reaching an active community which you’ve already fostered a relationship with. However, don’t expect to join a Facebook group and promote your blog thinking people will immediately flock to it. For people to be interested in your posts, you have to prove yourself worthy of their attention. Be an active community member who engages; like, comment, and even share other user’s content. And if you’re lucky, they will not only click the link to your blog and read it, but they will share it. 4. Guest Posting Guest posting is an excellent way to expand your brand’s reach, improve brand awareness, generate traffic and even backlinks, raising the value of your blog to search engines. Writing and publishing an article on someone else’s blog means tapping into an already-established community who can benefit your brand. When you get the opportunity to guest post, don’t forget to promote it on all your channels and thank the blog who welcomed you as a guest. 5. Newsletters Get people to sign up for your newsletter by offering a freebie and a promise to keep them up-to-date on industry news. Sending newsletters to an email list of people who have already shown interest in your brand is a smart way to bring them back to your site. Choose your highest-performing blog posts and showcase them in your weekly or monthly newsletters. Thank for stopping by! See you soon.
